Product Description

   It is widely used as work rolls in the HSM. We make this type of roll by centrifugal cast double poured. In this case, we can achieve an excellent wear resistance in the shell with flake graphite, bainite & martensite and carbide type M3C up to 45% in the microstructure. In addition, the flake graphite plays a great part in relieving the mechanical stress and heat stress as well as the bite property. At the same time, the core is strong enough to assure the roll can work safely.



 Properties
 The shell has a remarkable mechanical performance. With virtually no fall off in hardness due to the quantity of graphite remains basically unchanged throughout the working layer. The hardness of roll depends mainly on the type of matrix, namely sorbite or martensite.
